Please Join Us in Celebrating World Bipolar Day 2026!
The vision of World Bipolar Day (WBD) is to bring global awareness to bipolar disorder and to eliminate social stigma and discrimination. Since its inception, WBD has officially been observed on March 30, the birthday of the famous Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh, who was diagnosed after his death as likely having bipolar disorder. Because there is a link between bipolar and creativity, Wasco’s World Bipolar Day Festival is designed to
celebrate both mental health awareness and artistic expression.

Art is not just a theme of the event but an integral part of the festivities. At the World Bipolar Day Mental Health Awareness & Arts Festival, attendees can expect a full day of mental health resources, information, and meaningful community connection paired with engaging entertainment. Local mental health organizations will be on site offering educational materials, support services, and opportunities for open conversation, helping to break stigma and promote understanding. Alongside these resources, the festival will feature live music, cultural performances, live art, painting workshops, art displays, and spaces to relax, reflect, and connect. By blending education
with art, music, and creativity, World Bipolar Day in Wasco creates an inclusive and welcoming environment where awareness, healing, and celebration come together.
