World Bipolar Day in Wasco will feature a wide range of trusted mental health organizations dedicated to education, prevention, and support. These organizations will be on site to share
valuable information, resources, and referrals related to common mental health conditions, including bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and other mood and anxiety disorders. Attendees
will have the opportunity to speak directly with mental health professionals and advocates, ask questions, and learn more about available services within the community. By bringing these
resources together in one accessible space, the festival aims to increase understanding, reduce stigma, and connect individuals and families with the support they need.
In addition to community organizations, World Bipolar Day will include mental health speakers who will share insight and guidance on common mental health topics. These presentations are designed to help attendees feel more informed and empowered through education, open conversation, and practical information.
Alongside these talks, attendees will learn about common signs and symptoms to look for, what different mental health conditions mean, and how they may affect daily life. Information will also cover practical steps for seeking help, including when to reach out and what types of support and treatment options are available. Concepts related to mental health and brain science will be explained in clear, easy-to-understand terms, helping demystify mental health conditions and reinforce that support, treatment, and thriving are possible.
There will also be opportunities to hear powerful voices of lived experience. Speakers will share openly about the challenges they have faced, the tools and support that helped them navigate
difficult moments, and how they have learned to manage their mental health and thrive. Their stories are honest, hopeful, and deeply human, offering reassurance that recovery, stability, and
fulfillment are possible. World Bipolar Day reminds attendees that a mental health diagnosis does not define a person’s future and that meaningful, thriving lives are achievable with the right
support and understanding.
